Welcoming a baby into the family and wider community with a Naming Ceremony is an incredibly special and meaningful moment. It provides the opportunity for family and friends to show their love and support, for parents to honour those special to them with the role of godparents or guideparents, and for promises or gifts to be given to the baby.
